To celebrate our purchase of a new camera we went to try it out at Foodfest yesterday. The international clubs all are required by the university to provide their native foods at World Foodfest, one of Laie's best community activities. We headed over their with our friends the Pecks and I saw two of my students in the Tonga and Brazil clubs. Here's some highlights.

How does it feel to shave every day? Are you generally happier?
It's difficult to express how shaving each day has improved my quality of life. It's like a ritual cleansing, removing the impurities that would otherwise prevent me from fulfilling my potential as an instructor. And the burn I feel afterwards is a mild torment, which reminds me of my unworthy state.
I'm glad I have you to talk about these thing with - no one else understands.
